Ah, the holidays are here. It’s time to relax, recharge, and prepare for a promising new year.

And chances are, you will be searching for a new job after the holidays. According to LinkedIn’s data, January is when the largest percentage of LinkedIn users look for new gigs.

So, before 2016 ends. We’d like to share with you what skills were sought after the most this year. For if you are thinking about looking for a new job, you are probably asking what skills are employers actually looking for.

Analyzing the hiring and recruiting activity on LinkedIn since January 2015, they were able to identify the top skills employers looked for in 2016. Our friends at LinkedIn believe that the hiring trends in 2016 will pretty much stay the same in 2017, as employers are still recruiting for these skills into the final months of 2015.

So, if you have even a few of the skills on this list, your chances of getting hired next year is good.
